This piece is smooth, elegant, and nice to listen to. The piano and sax blend very nicely.

And for the key signature, I'm a bit confused too because it first sounded like it was in C Minor with the 6-5-1 chord progression, and then the last two chords of the FULL chord progression transitioned to the beginning of the chord progression nicely as if it was in G# Major.

TeffyD responds:

Yeah im not good with knowing keys so I just went with what the analyzer said lol.

Very jazzy indeed, quite nice to listen to, and that very ending actually sounds like something I would do.

Anyway, I'm actually considering remixing this at some point. :)

Getsaa responds:

Thanks for telling me, bud! I appreciate it a lot! :D

Edit: Oh wow :0 Didn't expected that lol, well, if you want, you're able to :)

After listening to the entirety of this score, I can't possibly berate it!
Well done, quintet! :D

The intro gave it a cinematic flavor to it which makes it seem like you put lots of effort into it.

Everyone's part had great mixing, and nothing really sounded off. :)

FL-DMD responds:

I’m happy you have stopped by, bro. Thanks for the support and we were also blessed to have you in last year’s collabclysm 😄

You know what? You are probably the first person to musicalize a school scenery/background like I do on Newgrounds. What you have created imbues me with that feeling so well that I played melodies over it!

It's a retro-game style no less, and that makes me like it even more!

And the pair of composers have created a primo score!

Really, you and you did a great job with this! :)

Planning to get this on dubstepgutter!

The Rhodes chords really set the mood of this score which I love, and I also love how this is a lo-fi hip-hop kind of score which is one of my favorites. The drums mix fine with the chords honestly. Though, the melody synth kind of feels just a little off; the melody of it could be more flowing and slower, but who cares; this score is lovely! :)

I see you went for a dirty, gritty kind of dubstep setting, but this is savory to listen to because the mixing is not bad at all, and I like how you put a atmospheric drone to make the song feel not empty. I would do that to sometimes. I think you should keep going. :)

I had a enjoyable time listening, and I must say that you have some potential right here!
I love the chords you used, it brings a nicer feeling to the song and really every other future bass score.

TDPmusic00 responds:

thanks a lot! :D

This short song is an enjoyable song if you ask me; it's pretty good to jam to! I especially love how you used 7ths; I love using those. :)

Vortonox responds:

thx :)

Ah, this is just sentimentally nice to listen! The piano and everything mixes well! :)
