Heyo, vistas! We meet again.

I have two updates to share with you. The disclaimer is that the first one is sad, and the other one is a cool change.

For starters, I announced a rap project on October 31st, 2023, and I too was so excited for it. Well, unfortunately, after 2023, my partner and I had a few unfortunate conversations about the project. In the end, he wasn't feeling it anymore, and the project thus fell through. I know; it broke my heart too.

However, I wasn't going to leave it at that. So, as an attempt to bring the project back to life, on July 1st, I'm posting the beat in case any of you guys want to rap on it. It'd be cool, to be honest.

Now, let's talk about Ms. Quirky.

I don't know what I was thinking when I named her Ms. Quirky. It just sounded like a cool word for a name that I saw fit. Except, after composing a good deal of Ms. Quirky, she wasn't very quirky. Additionally, "quirky" basically means weird, and Ms. Quirky isn't weird or that much a maverick.

However, there's a similar word that also starts with "Q": "Quaint", and it means weird in an attractive way; unique, and Ms. Quirky is definitely attractive and can be unique.

After that sort of research, Ms. Quirky is now Miss Quaint!

Heyo, my vistaed friends! I have some sad news that I'm essentially obliged to share:

Since last Thursday/Friday, my PC "died" according to my family. My PC soft-locked for some reason, and so I thought force-shutting it down and turning it back on would get it out of its soft-lock—until I realized that it wouldn't power back on. My father looked at the PC and said that it had "died". No, it's not battery-powered. Anyway, as of then, I'm stuck to playing with my old PC which has way fewer needs and a less saturated screen, which both get in the way of my music and art production. This sucks because I was this close to posting another musical composition—which only needs a thumbnail left—and I had a great idea for an art piece to execute (not the music thumbnail)!

Anyway, my father said he'd try and get my PC fixed starting tomorrow, and I REALLY need my PC back! Ideally, I want my computer fixed by the end of June.

Heyo!

As I mentioned in "Easy Duet," I am working on a rap project with a friend of mine!

I made the beat for him, and he is now going to do the vocals.

I thought this project was going to be done this month, but unfortunately, the vocals are not finished yet.

So, I hope we can get it ready in November, but I have not lost my patience yet, and I hope you guys haven't lost yours either, but I can't wait!

I will be dropping a new music piece tomorrow that is not a rap but is something I am proud of, so look out for that, and have a good day! :)

Heyo, amity members! :)

You've probably noticed that I haven't posted much this month. How come?

It's especially because of school. I feel as if school is draining a lot from me and making me less and less happy. Because of that, I've never had the motivation to create a lot.

What I don't like about school is the way they teach you. You don't just learn, you literally strive for your education in dull, taxing ways. I feel like it's unnecessary. For example, I've been testing week after week after week after week and therefore having interrupted free time. It's super annoying.

And it's just not the school tradition, some of the adults in my school have a lot of nerve making me feel ashamed of what I've done and what I'm doing. Atop that, I have a mean teacher this semester; they make me feel like a bad person whether I slip up or not, and they just put me down.

Aside from school, my family also tends to put me down when I slip up. Yes, I do tend to slip up every now and then, and everyone just makes a decent-sized deal out of it.

Ultimately, I've been struggling this month and a bit of last month too, and that's why I couldn't get to crafting. I've been trying to get my mind off of my problems by doing fun stuff that people do today.

However, I'm working on a utile loop to finish off April. I hope you'll like that one.

So, you know this lovely fella below, right?

And I named him Edward.

But, I realized that there is a more popular, more ubiquitous series that also has four main characters, and one of their names is Edward. I'm talking about Eddsworld. That made my series feel like a rip-off of that, especially given that one of my characters is named Edward as well.

So, to stop this uncomfortable feeling, Edward over here is going to have his name changed.

His new name is Ethan. That is what my brother suggested, he liked that way better than Edward, and eventually, I agreed with him.
